💍What has two years of marriage taught me?
💕 You can do absolutely anything with the right person by your side.
👉🏾When I told @juaannn I wanted to drop 15K to go to coaching school, he shrugged and said, “go for it.”
👉🏾When I told Juan I needed to quit my job and take a lower paying in-house coach gig, he said “whatever makes you happy.”
👉🏾When I told Juan that I was quitting my stable, in-house coaching job to run my coaching practice full time, he took a very long, deep breath (lol) and said, “I believe in you.”
If I can give you only one lesson, let it be this:
💞 Find someone who says “go for it.”
💞 Find someone who says “whatever makes you happy”
💞 Find someone who says “I believe in you”...every. single. time.
✨It doesn’t have to be your partner, but trust me when I say that you’ll get where you want to go faster and with more ease, if you have SOMEONE standing by your side.
Who’s supporting you as you reach for your big, bold dreams? How can you be creating even more support in your life?
(P.S. - In celebration of our two year, I’m posting photos from our two ceremonies! And yes, I did include a solo pic of me in my civil ceremony dress in my anniversary post. 💁🏾♀️ If you got it, flaunt it, you know?)
🗺Travel is a big part of my personal practice -- it's grounding, it's inspiring, it sparks creativity and it lets me explore new cultures and ways of thinking and experiencing the world. In short, it deepens my understanding of myself, the world, and even positively impacts my relationships.
✨It makes my spirit come alive and enhances my daily life by giving me a larger scope and something to look forward to (because what is more fun than having a trip booked and researching where to eat, play, and be ;D)
🌿Travel also helps give me clarity on why I set goals and work hard - and that's important.
💞Knowing what sparks joy helps inspire our work in the world -our version of success- and energizes us to keep doing it!
👉🏾What is your work in the world right now? 💁🏾♀️ What does success mean to you (or are you looking to explore what that is)? 🌎 And what trip do you have planned, because taking suggestions! ;D
Laughter is the best medicine.
It's an ice breaker, mood shaker, and great way to recharge when your goals are weighing down on you.
🌿Get out today.
💃🏾Shake it off today.
✨Lose yourself in the moment instead of staying stuck knee deep in your looming goals. Then, instead of looking all the way down the path to your end goal, take ONE step at a time to achieve it-- because dreams are built one step at a time and laughter makes the journey way more fun 🙌🏾

✨"I’ve been in therapy for years with minimal results, and after a month with Gieselle I saw massive shifts in every aspect of my life. People around me even noticed how much I’ve changed. I’m hooked."

📍Where are you headed and how do you plan to get there?
🤷🏾♀️Have you ever wound up at a destination that you thought was your end-all / be-all only to realize it wasn't nearly as fulfilling as you'd hoped?
👉🏾It's easy to take a misguided path when we don't know our core values - so of course, learning your core values will change all of that and give you a clear, directional purpose 🗺
💥Your values "define" you at the core of your being. Without these things, you wouldn’t be you. Some people value freedom and autonomy, some value impact and service, others value creativity, while others value logic.
💡✨It’s important to know what you value and what your core values are, so that you can make authentic choices and commitments in your life, and understand what's wrong when you get that nagging feeling that something just isn't right.
👁 As a certified mindset coach who helps high achievers build self trust + confidence so that they can realize their full potential, the approach my clients and I use together is deep and transformative.
I help my clients:
👉🏾Discover their values
👉🏾Gain clarity around how closely they're currently aligned to their values
👉🏾Make tangible goals for how to move forward in a more authentic way
💞I believe that every individual is smart enough, capable enough, and resourced enough to get what they want. The only thing standing in your way is the belief that you can't do it.
🎯I'm proud to say, my clients have written books, started and scaled businesses, been promoted to leadership positions at international corporations, become digital nomads, and more- together we've figured out their core values so they could pursue their real dreams.
🙏🏾I believe any individual can make their own bold leap and finally have success, confidence, presence, and balance. When you're ready to have all of that, I'm here to lovingly support you on your journey 💕
💁🏾♀️When you work with amazing clients that have amazing internal and external transformations, it's a good day. 💞I loved working with and supporting Samantha throughout our time together and what a great reminder to be joyful wherever we are in our journey✨...
"Before working with Gieselle, I struggled with managing my goals and aspirations. In working with her, I discovered that I was putting too much pressure on myself and needed to give into the process. The overwhelm I experienced kept me grounded in fear. Every week, we broke down the work and all of the emotions surrounding it. Working with Gieselle allowed me to create more space for myself, slow down, connect with my work and live as my most authentic self. She empowered me with the tools and guidance to regain control even when I'm feeling out of control. After working with Gieselle, I am more resilient, vulnerable, brave, playful and present no matter where I am. Things will never look the way that we want them to, but I've learned to be joyful wherever I am in my journey."

😭 The first week I had @syrupofsf, I cried literally every day. (Sometimes, multiple times a day.)
🙇🏾♀️I was sure I had made a massive mistake and that it would never get better.
👉🏾The problem was, I had lost all perspective.
I was so caught up in how shitty my current experience was, that I couldn’t look at the big picture, and imagine how things might get better.
“Better” felt impossible.
My husband (thank God for him) helped me see what was possible.
Here’s what he reminded me of:
💕I loved our last dog so much it made my heart hurt.
🙏🏾I found taking care of an adult dog to be really fulfilling.
🐕We trained a stubborn, adult dog - and if we did that, we could certainly train an eager-to-please puppy.
Guess what y’all….
💥Juan was right.
A few weeks later, I now:
🐶Seek out time with Syrup when I’m down, because she makes me smile.
🐶Find taking care of her be really fulfilling (and fun!)
😅Am actually sad that she has to grow up and become an adult.
✨👉🏾Moral of the story: Sometimes, you just need to get out of the weeds, and look at the big picture.
👀Where in your life have you lost perspective? 💞What good things are actually possible for this situation? 🙌🏾 How can things improve?
Some #mondaymotivation for you 🙌🏾
🎯If you're a high achiever, you know there is nothing more frustrating than having a goal and not be working toward it. It feels counterintuitive but you find yourself frozen and unable to move forward because of the two thousand point checklist in your head.
💥This is the moment you have to put your end goal aside and start on ONE step. Today, right now.
1️⃣✅What is one small step you can take to move forward with your goal? (not what are all two thousand steps - what is one, singular step that you can take?)
👉🏾Let me know in the comments below and if you need a kick in the pants and a long term game plan, coaching with me may be right for you. Want to learn more? 🗓✨ Schedule your complimentary consult call by clicking the 'Book' button under my @gieselleallen profile and let's chat.
Let's get uncomfortable. Huh?
💥Hear me out...Yesterday, someone asked me, "In what area of your life would you like radical change?" and I shut down. I refused to let myself think of anything. It's as if this person suddenly became a vampire - I instinctively reached for my holy water and a cross to fight off this monster who had dared come near me with their 'radical change'. "Leave me alone!" I thought, "I'm comfortable where I am, okay?"
👀Let's face it - we all like to be comfortable. Who doesn't love a warm blanket, cup of tea, and raindrops falling against their window, lulling them to sleep? ☔️Honestly, just thinking about it makes me want to walk away from this keyboard and get on the couch. (Seriously, I'm so tempted.) But here's the thing about being comfortable....it does exactly what I mentioned before: it puts you to sleep. 😴You miss days, months, years, even decades of your life dreaming away, but going nowhere. Yikes.
💡While these moments of rest have their place, we're not meant to stay there permanently - we're meant for creating and experiencing and pushing our limits.
👉🏾So today, I challenge you: Look at one comfortable area of your life and really examine it- even if you don't 'think' it needs any work. Give yourself five solid minutes of quiet, and look at it from all angles, slowly, and deliberately. ✨ Once you've fully examined it, be honest with yourself: within the comfort, did you find a sense of discomfort as well, lurking in the shadows? ✨Was there a part of yourself that wanted something more but instead, you've just settled with good enough? ✨Was there a part of you crying out for help, begging to be set free? --This revelation probably comes as a surprise but is actually an invitation for more.
🤷🏾♀️So what are we supposed to do?
Embrace discomfort -- lean in, hear it out and explore. Accept the challenge. Will it be easy? No. Will it be worth it? Oh yes.
I'm right here with you, accepting the challenge. 🙌🏾
