This particular post was the first of the ‘Daytrip’ reels and its performance exceeded our expectations. This reel reached nearly 1K accounts that were not already following you and was shared to several accounts stories, including: Knaus Gallery, Around Highland NY, Friends Corner + Snack Bar, and Inside+Out Upstate NY, in addition to several personal accounts. The series directs viewership from the following of the accounts you highlight, while also building a relationship of comradery with local businesses. Much like this post, the other reels in this series were shared by the businesses that were highlighted. We even had a local business reach out and request to be featured in a future post. We’d say that the mission was accomplished with this series!
From the creation of the account, we set out to connect with and make it onto the radar of local Hudson Valley platforms. Yelp Hudson Valley reached out to us for an account feature and this post saw some of the highest engagement, not only on our account, but on their established account.
