Your Best Performing Posts Were:
Giveaways generate a ton of engagement because of the required commenting for entry while influencer reposts tend to bring along their followers who check out their feature, like, and comment.
When we remove the last week from the equation, above are the top five posts and their are some interesting findings… The Jun 24th post was promoted, so that received a good batch of engagement but the interesting part here is that the quote received even more engagement, when it came to likes, comments, and shares, than the promoted post!
This quote did the best out of all the quotes because it was pithy and a little tongue in cheek - it got people sharing through private message, saving, and reposting. This is great for brand recognition- because while someone won’t typically repost a product shot, they will repost a quote. And with your branding and website on it, it creates recognition and inspires curiosity. Behavior dictates that viewers want to know what is HERLA and then check it out. We suggest incorporating more non product related posts that will grab engagement and shares. As a result, this will increase product post engagement because Instagram will show the following posts to more eyes.
OVERALL POST FINDINGS:
+Surprise Finding: Product tagged posts typically see more saves, emails, profile visits, and most importantly, website clicks versus direct product clicks. This indicates a preference to visit via bio link versus tag. We’ll keep tagging products but this is an interesting tell in behavior.
+Post Impressions: Nearly all of your posts see just under 1,000 impressions and half of your users are seeing your profile pop up on their home page which indicates the Instagram is sharing your posts with your followers and is happy with your account. Score!
+Your Engagement: All of your posts see extremely high engagement rates for a business account.
+Average post rates: 5 profile visits and 5 saves. Saves are high for product posts and indicate viewers are saving the item to explore and shop later.

+Consistent Posting each week brings continued brand awareness and anticipation. This creates a primed audience to view, share, and save your work. Potential clients can now see existing and new products and see ongoing account activity.
+Hashtag Strategy in posting and target market engagement for optimal exposure. The more targeted the hashtags, the more eyes will see your post. We consistently monitor and update hashtags for each post for maximum effectiveness and reach. We’ve now added vegan and cruelty-free targeted hashtags to the mix!

PLANS + RECOMMENDATIONS
VEGAN MARKET: The vegan market is a BIG one. Vegans are looking for products that meet their criteria and actually work! We’ll begin using hashtags and targeted engagements for this market. If getting certification as vegan skincare is possible, we highly encourage it - just like the cruelty-free label, this helps people trust the claim. I did a quick search and found a resource here: https://vegan.org/certification/ In the meantime, we’ll use the vegan hashtag in all posts and if you feel confident in making the vegan claim, we’ll list it in the profile!
QUOTE POSTS: We’ll mix in quote posts to encourage sharing of branded quote posts.
CRUELTY FREE: We’ll mix in animal posts to call to cruelty free and boost engagement and sharing of posts. We’ll also use cruelty free targeted hashtags in all posts and begin to target cruelty free and PETA audiences.
TAGS: We’ll begin tagging and reaching out to appropriate accounts for possible features in the areas of female owned businesses, entrepreneurship, cruelty free and vegan bloggers, NYC accounts and publications.
ALGORITHM: Your account is doing quite well considering Instagram’s newest algorithm update and we are on the ball with learning and adhering to it!
